Back by popular demand!  Join us for our first FAN event of the year as Tomi-Ann Roberts, PhD, Professor of Psychology, Colorado College and Elizabeth Daniels, PhD, Associate Professor of Psychology, University of Colorado Colorado Springs present

"How the Culture of Sexualization Impacts Youth and What We can Do About It."

Parents and educators are concerned about our highly sexualized culture and its impact on youth. This talk by two professors of psychology whose research has centered on questions of sexualization and objectification will address this issue and give parents and youth some practical suggestions for healthy self-esteem and embodiment

The Family Awareness Network strives to offer resources and programs that inform, engage and encourage parents of Cheyenne Mountain High School students.

Throughout the year, FAN offers events and programs on various topics of interest to parents. In addition, FAN supports the efforts of the counseling department and administration in providing information targeted to specific interest groups such as parents of each grade level, college-bound students or those facing particular wellness issues.

Family Awareness Network is a committee of parents, counselors, teachers, and administrators and encourages all parents to get involved.
